Remember Me Review

Tyler: [from trailer] Gandhi said that whatever you do in life will be insignificant. But it's very important that you do it. I tend to agree with the first part . That was one of many quotes from the movie remember me. This movie is coming out on March 12. The plot of this movie is a romantic drama centered on two new lovers: Tyler, whose parents have split in the wake of his brother's suicide, and Ally, who lives each day to the fullest since witnessing her mother's murder.- where I got the plot from - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1403981/ . I think this movie is going to be very good. I m not really a Twilight kind of fan, actually I always hated Twilight. I guess in the previews it looks good. I’m hoping that Robert Pattinson will do wonderful.
In the previews Tyler or Robert Pattinson he is living a horrible life. He is trying to make it better, by trying to break up fighting in the street. But instead he has to go to jail for no reason what so ever. When his dad (Charles) bails him out he said :
Charles: [from trailer] Could do worse than have a father who bails you out of jail.
Tyler: [from trailer] I don't wanna be bailed out of anything. .But when he meets Ally. When he meets her and they start dating here is one of the quotes he said.
Tyler: [from trailer] Someone's been trying to tell me something. Make her yours forever, and I'm working on the forever part.

Finding Nemo

Today I am going to write about Finding Nemo. In this film the dad of Nemo (Albert Brooks) his name Marlin is trying to find his son Nemo of course and has some challenges while he is trying to find his son. Like one of his problems is Dory(Ellen DeGeneres) who is my personally my favorite character besides Squirt the little turtle the son of Crush a turtle that Marlin meets in his challenges to find Nemo. I also loved the cute little fishes that were Nemo’s “friends” he just met, and the school of fish that kept on mocking Marlin when he is trying to find directions.

Some things that I disliked about this movie. I thought that the scene where they meet the sharks and Dory starting bleeding and the main shark goes crazy. Then tries to eat them is a little too much exceptionally for a little kids movie. I know what their trying to prove, but I don’t think they have to go far. He was very scary for kids too. Because one time I was watching with kids I was babysitting and they got really scared one that scene. All in all its one of the cutest movies I have seen . I really wish they make a second movie!

Valentine's Day Review

Today I’m going to review the movie about Valentine’s Day. I thought over all it was a great movie. When it first came out everyone was going to the movie, and coming back saying that it was a cute and good movie. I loved how Taylor Swift acted so “blonde” in the movie and brought this big teddy bear around the whole day. Julia Roberts was also in the movie and she is one of my favorite actors, she also did really well in the movie! Bradley Cooper with in the movie is named Holden, who is on a plane traveling home.
I didn’t really dislike or hate anything in the movie. The part that I hated the most is Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner as a couple. They just don’t look good together! I loved how the little boy sent a dozen of roses to a girl in his class, and he ended up giving it to the teacher. It’s a movie for boys, girls, teenagers, and parents. It’s perfect for any gender. Ashton Kutcher was good in this movie. He played one of the main roles in this movie. One of the things I disliked was Taylor Swift’s character because she was kind of annoying. But I think that was how she was supposed to be. All in all I thought this movie was way better than I expected.

Review of "Matilda"

My review is about the movie Matilda. I think this movie was very interesting. It is about this girl who is super smart and has a family that is not one you would call nice. The reason why I choose to review this movie is because I always loved it when I was a little girl and I still do love this movie. My favorite part in the movie is when Matilda is making the cards fly in the air and she made the curtains open and shut, the lamp turn off and on , and  while she makes her lunch at the same time.

The first thing that I dislike about this movie is how the principal and Maltida’s family treats her. Like when she is reading a book and they are watching t.v. they tell her to be a normal person and put down the book and watch the show. Matilda refuses and uses her “powers” to explode the t.v. up into pieces and that’s when she discovers her powers. Another thing that I didn’t like as much is how Matilda puts dyes in her dads hair and MAN! Was he mad. All in all I think this movie was a great and wonderful movie that anyone can watch!

Phantom of the Opera

Okay so I know I promised the continued of Yes Man but, I would love to talk about “The Phantom of the Opera”. First, I hated the main diva or the “main opera singer” , because she was very rude I don’t know if it’s just me but I don’t like rude people! I loved how it was black & white than it went back to when the opera house was up and running. I thought the changing was pretty cool and different. I also liked how the phantom or the “ angel of music” has his own cave or like hangout… I would love to have a hangout spot like that anytime! My absolute favorite thing in the whole musical is there settings and how they plotted everything out. I think that the settings were amazing and beautiful.

One of the most things I disliked about the movie is how dramatic it is. As in this one part where he takes Christina (main character) to his cave and lets her take off the mask. But when she tries to actually pull it off he pushes her to the ground and she gets really frighten but she still stays with him. If I was her in the movie I would like start running away from him or something if he is going to be abusive or physical. Even though the Phantom was very physical you can’t not like him. He is just a loveable kind of person, well all of the actors were. All in all the movie/musical was one of the best I have seen so far.(right after Hairspray of course!)

Review on Yes Man the movie

In the beginning of the story it is kind of boring, and you lose interest at first. But after his friend Nick tells him to go to the Yes Presentation it changes his mind about everything. As he heads to his car he helps a hobo to his home which is in the trees. Since he has to say yes to everything and just met a girl at the gas station he has no choice but to say yes. I think it so funny how he met a nice girl, and got a ride just for saying one word. As he went to work on a Saturday he got a raise, and which again is amazing how everything is working out.

Two of my favorite quotes in this movie is “If I win this fight I get to that girl to a ball because ever pretty girl should get to go to a ball”. Appartly he was very drunk when he said that but it was still very funny the way he said this. And my second favorite quote is ‘ Do you like redbull?? I like redbull…do you cause I do??” When there on there “date” he goes crazy and then crashes on the ground, which is odd because she didn’t help him up but just started taking pictures of him! This is only the being and if this is very interesting to you and you want to know more watch Yes Man to watch this hilarious movie…and my next post about the movie will be posted soon about the rest of the movie.

First Semester Portfolio-Piece I'd Like to Revise

I had a lot of fun in the first semester, doing all sorts of poems and essays just made me love English even more. But I wasn’t very good at certain kinds of writing. So one thing I would love to revise would be my writing territories. This essay was about one of my writing territories from my notebook that we wrote in the first week of school. The essay that I wrote about was my birthday. One reason why I want to revise it is because of how detailed I was. Detail is very good for a essay, but I put to much details from my personal life in this essay. Below is what I am trying to explain.

Once on September 6 1996 a little girl was born and they named her Kendra Jo Hanks. And now in present day she just turned 13 and that is what I am going to talk about my 13th birthday. First I got out of bed my feet tingling and feeling like there bursting in flames, because it was my grandparents 50th anniversary the night before and my feet really hurt from dancing all night. So as a walk out I see a delicious juicy breakfast pizza waiting to be eaten.
