First Semester Reflection

In the first semester, as a language art student I learned many important things I hadn’t known before. I learned how to make reading exciting, by using figurative language, and other smiley face tricks. I have improved my reading and most of my writing over the first semester. I have also learned new information about technology and how to use it properly, like how I should synchronize my computer every day before I leave school. I can now write properly with fanboys and awwubiiss words. I learned a lot about reading strategies and to look closely to what I’m reading.

Some things that I have learned this semester is how I should push myself to a certain limit or maybe even push farther past my goal. I learned that I actually like to read books. Not just for class or reading logs, I like to read in my spare time. I should be respectful to my class especially my teacher. How to be caring to my computer and all my things as in notebooks. I also learned that I like the mystery and contemporary fiction. But most of all I learned that when the teacher is talking you are not.

Some things I think I should do to be successful in the second quarter is to be more organized and ready for English class .What I’m saying is that I should have my homework or project done before English time comes around. For things that I don’t understand I will ask for help from a friend or Mrs. Moege. Or study that thing I do not understand until I understand. I think that I should start writing more in my planner about the upcoming events.
